He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Nelen and Louise Nelen (Trexler); and his brother Bob Nelen. He is survived by: his wife Edna Nelen (Mullins); his children, Gidget Spencer (Cj) of Grampian, Mathew Nelen (Lisa) of Curwensville and Mark Nelen (Mindy) of Curwensville; his grandchildren, Sabrina Spencer, Sydney Spencer, Carson Spencer, Cooper Spencer, Kaylee Nelen, Kyler Nelen and Morgan Nelen; his siblings, Marie McQuown (Bob) of Sykesville, Jane Russell (Bill) of Chestnut Grove, Leo Nelen of Grampian, Tom Nelen (Sue) of DuBois, Denny Nelen (Tammy) of Grampian, John Nelen (Rose) of Luthersburg, Don Nelen (Carolyn) of Grampian, Lou Nelen (Jess) of Grampian and Joe Nelen of Grampian; and his sister-in-law Louise Roy (Mel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
