He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Liuzzo and Laura Liuzzo (Balaban); his stepson Frank Cromer; his son-in-law David Carachilo; and his brother Samuel "Butch" Liuzzo, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Diane (Pearson); and his children, Teresa Morris (Dale), Lisa Carachilo, Laurann Hoover (Kevin) and Jonathan Liuzzo (Christie).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
