He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Gerald Jakes and Ann Jakes Mayeski (Pagnozzi); and his brother Gerald Jakes. He is survived by: his wife Gail M. Jakes (Feduchak); his children, Heather Jakes, Krista Golden (Matthew) and Gregory Jakes; his sister Monica Joseph (John); his nephew John (Jennifer); and also Thomas Cingolani.
