He is survived by: his children, Jamel Karim of Pocono Lake, Zulaka of Wilkes-Barre and Ayesha Karim (Carol Hagan) of Wilkes-Barre; and his siblings, Kaissime, Ahmed, Omar Karim and Sulaka Figueroa. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
