She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Harpster and Lorena Briner Harpster; her spouse Sidney R. Sheaffer; her children, John, Karen Taylor and Susan Zander; and her siblings, Sara and Dean.
She is survived by: her sons, David Sheaffer and Michael Sheaffer; and her brother Bill (Janet Harpster). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
