With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Georgia May Root of Gordonville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 29, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Francis Root, Sr.; her parents, Howard Lee Stone, Sr. and Margaret Simms Stone; her children, Debbie Neff, Ann Ianuzzi and William Root; and her siblings, William Stone, Betty Phillips and Florence Shearer.
She is survived by: her children, Constance Root of Gordonville, Karen Singh (Waild) of Egypt, Christopher L. Root (Toni Sherrer) of Gordonville, Joseph Matthew Stone (Jessica) of New Holland, Robert Root, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Honey Brook, Randy Root (Patty) of Maryland, Donald Root (Nancy) of Honey Brook and Ronald Root (Laurie) of Gap; and her siblings, Howard L. Stone, Jr., Raymond Stone, Barbara Cummings, Mary Cummings, Madeline Gibson, Elle Seace, Aleah Donkewicz and Susan McCarffaey. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
