James A. Schally Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Schally Sr. of Gordon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Schally (Ferris) and George Schally; his wife Ethel E. Schally (Shoup); his siblings, George and Anna; and his great grandchild Kohl Marlow.
He is survived by: his sister Lorraine Chuma; his children, James Schally Jr. (Kathleen), Mary Alice Fields (Gregory) of Kingsport, TN and Susan Jacavage (Gordon); his grandchildren, Michelle Walter-Meiser, Stephanie Marlow, Jason Marlow and Ralph Jacavage; and his great grandchildren, Blayke, Brynn, Berlin, Camryn, Isabella, Eddie, Brandt, Braysen and Laney. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo (1115 Walnut St, Ashland, PA 17921). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
