He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold J. Harrris and Ruth L Muenker Harris Tyson; and his brother Rodney Harris. He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Maurer Harris; his children, Carey Harris (Carolyn) of Madison, AL, Craig Harris (Leslie), Chris Harris and Dianna Corcoran (Rob, Sr.); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Nguyen (Steve), Christina Owens (Josh), Melissa Harris, Christopher Harris, Nicole Harris, Kyle Harris (Abby), Kacie Harris, Amanda Harris, Brianna Harris, Caitlyn Harris, Rob Corcoran, Jr. and Kelsey Corcoran. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in George's name to the Simpson United Methodist Church, 119 Biddle St., Gordon, PA.
