With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole F. Sye (Gordon, Pennsylvania), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Blaine and Mary Ruth Todd Farver; and her brother-in-law Michael Vaubel. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Sye; her children, Andrew Sye and Jessica Taylor (Brian); her grandsons, Carson, Jackson and Andrew; and her siblings, Edwin Farver (Michele) and Marybeth Vaubel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 1020 State St., Baden, PA 15005.

“Mr sye, drew and jessica. I am so saddened to hear the news of the passing of your wife/mom. I have such fond memories of her growing up. The one thing that always stuck with me is when i would babysit you both that she would make the best macaroni and cheese. I would like to think that maybe her and brother are reminiscing about richard drive. Know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Jill (pingielski) gobert.”
