He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie; his brother Joseph Kolonis; and his parents, Anthony Kolonis and Alma Kolonis. He is survived by: his son Thomas Jr.; his daughter-in-law Leigh; his siblings, Marilyn, Tricia, BettyAnne and Linda; his sibling-in-law BettyAnne Kolonis; and his grandchildren, Matty and Natalie.
