He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Gabriel Cardamone and Lena Cardamone; and his sister Ursula Brown. He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Rose), Michael, Gary, Brian (Kim), Therese Shelton (Jerry), James (Joanne) and Diane Pittman (Fred); and his siblings, Dolores Diaddorio and Gabriel Cardamone. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to St. Josephs Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031.
