Helene A. Spause Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helene A. Spause (Glenside, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Helene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cornelius J. Spause; and her parents, Edmond Speitel and Lillian Speitel. She is survived by: her children, Regina McGraw (Edward), David Spause (Sharon) and Paul Spause (Sherry); and her sister Anne McCann. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Helena Church (6161 N 5th St, Philadelphia, PA 19120).
In lieu of sending flowers, contributions in Helene's name may be made to the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament.
