Gavala of Glenside, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Yanco, Sr. and Mary Yanco. She is survived by: her husband Theodore Gavala, Sr.; her children, Ted Gavala (Yiota) and Mary Scott (Joseph); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Gavala (Kelly), Emily Scott, Christina Gavala, Paul Scott and Nicholas Gavala.

In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to the Holy Spirit Romanian Orthodox Church, 1323 Ashbourne Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027.
