He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry O. Ludwig and Marian Ludwig (Warfel); his brother Harry Ludwig; and his daughter-in-law Catherine Ludwig. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Ludwig (Schaeffer); his sons, Daniel W. Ludwig, Jr. and Michael W. Ludwig (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Samantha, Carly (Alex Emmett), Holly, Michael, Mark and Daniel Ludwig; his great grandchild Nolan Emmett; and his sister Molly Clark.
