He was predeceased by: his sister Wilma Anastassopoulos; and his parents, Marie Hummel and Ralph Huff Cornell (Margaret). He is survived by: his friend Joan Goncar; his children, Cassandra M. Gillen, Kimberly C. Cornell and William F. Cornell, Jr.; his granddaughter Heather M. Cornell; his sister Sue Duderstadt; his brother-in-law Nicholas Anastassopoulos; his nephew Andreas Anastassopoulos; and his sister-in-law Judith Barna.
