Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Cathers Sr. and Florence K. Cathers (Kinsey). He is survived by: his wife Lois Jean Cathers (Durst); and his children, Keith William Cathers, Karen J. Rice (Bob) and Kimberly Sue Cathers.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neely Funeral Home (2208 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (66 Grant St, Pittsburgh, PA 15223).
