He was predeceased by: his son Joshua Schaffer; and his parents, James Schaffer and Marilyn Schaffer. He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Brittany), Rachael Montesano (Adam), Rebecca and Leigha (Heide); his grandchildren, Kallie, Isaiah, Ava, Adriana, Alivia, Monroe, Carson and Evie; and his siblings, Richard (Chris), Pamela (Denny) and Gregory (Amanda). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
