He is survived by: his parents, Nick Kakavis and Betty Kakavis; his sister Susan Powers (Michael); his nieces, Alyssa and Julia Powers; his fiancé Candyce Rose; his godparents, Pat and Jack Collage; his aunt Pat Scott; and his cousins, Gillian, Courtney (Michael) and Devon (Derek).
