He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen "Chickie" Furar (Oliver); and his children, Michele Della Valle (John), Bob Furar, Jr. (Kim), Colleen Scherer (Gordon) and Jennifer DiGirolamo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
