He was predeceased by: his parents, Davide Bennardo and Fortuna Turano; his wife Maria "Assunta" Bennardo; and his siblings, Franco, Salvatore, Rosetta and Maria.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Paterra (Emidio) and Salvatore Bennardo (Amy); his nephew Edward Newill (Jennifer); his niece Angela Natoli (Ron); his grandchildren, Angela Schillizzi (Ryan), Dante Paterra (Sara), Emidio Paterra, Nathan Bennardo and Kara Bennardo; and his great grandchildren, Mabel Paterra and Andrew Schillizzi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Neely Funeral Home (2208 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Juan Diego Parish (201 9th St, Sharpsburg, PA 15215).
