He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Ricasa of Cavite and Emilia Cabanatan of Manila, Philippines.; his siblings, Resureccion Ricasa Legaspi, Amelia Ricasa Bawalan, Felix Cabanatan Ricasa and Jovita Cabanatan Ricasa; and his wife Dr. Josefina Candelaria Ricasa (Josie).
He is survived by: his daughters, Florence Emily Ricasa-Schmitt (Jordan Asher Schmitt) and Dr. Jocelyn Candelaria (Joy); and his grandchildren, Nathan Oscar, Eric Thomas Schmitt, Josephine Anne (Josie) and Jason John Legradi (JJ).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home Maestas Chapel (1801 Baltic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church (1404 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451).
