She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Drwal and Vera Drwal; her brothers, Henry and Robert; and her stepfather Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Richard C Tappe, Jr.; her children, Richard M. Tappe (Tammy), Carrie Schreiber (Doug) and Renee Mertz (Jason); and her grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Connor, Trista, Ian, Jack, Carter, Coleman, Hayden and Nolan. She is also survived by other loving step-siblings, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home (1500 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Bonaventure Church - St. Matthew (2001 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in her name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
