It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Murphy (Glenshaw, Pennsylvania), born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 25, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Mildred Marcheck, Elizabeth McDermott, Catherine Sapienza, Mary Margaret Laird and Eleanor DiTonto.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta Murphy (Garvan); his children, Bernard, Amy Murphy, Lauren Murphy (Justin Huebscher) and Dennis Murphy; his granddaughters, Monica Murphy, Christine Ellwanger (Chris), Jessica Ireland and Brianna Ireland; his great grandchildren, Lena, Ryland, Jayden and Lawson; and his sisters, Genevieve McGrath, Patricia Ketterer and Eileen Delewski.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
