It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Regis Monroe Jr. (Glenshaw, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Jeannette Monroe; and his siblings, Lois Black (Harry), Thomas Monroe (Mary Pat), Edward Monroe, Jack Monroe (Carol) and Robert Monroe (Heidi).

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Monroe; his sisters, Jean Boeh (Urban), Eileen Flanagan (Vincent) and Madelyn Kennedy (John); his children, James R. Monroe III (Sue), Judy Monroe, Richard Monroe, Joseph Monroe (Jeanne), Wendy Graham (Bernie), Maureen Deverts (A. J.), Colleen Klein (Bernard), Patrick Monroe (Staci) and Kate Brandt; and his grandchildren, James Monroe IV (Jackie), Angie Patterson (Evan), Lexy Monroe, Erin Madry (Joe), Matt Graham, Meghan Furnier (Mike), Dillon Graham, Jenna Graham, Rich Casselberry, Katie Singer (Steve), Ryan Casselberry (Becky), Ryan Klein (Thania), Madelyn Kaiser (Joey), Maria Rowney (Eli), Grace Gleason (John Henry), Anna Malinoski (John), Vincent Klein, Timothy Klein, Benedict Klein, Matt Monroe, Victoria Monroe, Chloe Erdner, Kiera Monroe, Dani Brandt and Riley Brandt.
