He was predeceased by: his siblings, William, Nicholas, Jospeh Kessler, Theresa Crawford and Zita Kessler.
He is survived by: his wife Althea Johnstone Kessler; his daughters, Janet Long (James) and Kathy McNaughton (Dean); his grandchildren, James Jr. (Molly), Ashley Schuler (Joe), Jacklyn Komoroski (Daniel) and Amber Buczkowski (Timothy); his great grandchildren, James Long The 3rd, Veralyn Long, Finley Long, Shelby Komoroski, Daniel Komoroski, Riley and Skyler Buczkowski; and his siblings, Anthony Kessler and Elizabeth Rosenberger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neely Funeral Home (2208 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1719 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116).
