He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Shields and Maxine Shields; and his brother Raymond Shields. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Adamosky Shields; his children, Kimberly Gerhart (Charles) and Karrie Shields; his grandson Benjamin; and his siblings, James Shields and Darlene Blickendorfer.
