He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Mildred "Millie" Kozar (late Lawrence J.) and Joseph Kaib (Marianne); his nieces, Janet Astle (DuWayne) and Linda DuPlessis (Tom); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Melinda Gaus (Steven), Matthew DuPlessis (Amy), Michael DuPlessis and Lauren DuPlessis; and also Rory DuPlessis.
