He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Ann Nist; his son Anthony; his parents, William Nist and Eleanor Nist; and his brother William Nist.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Nist (Debbie), Beverly Cook (Robin), Daniel, Gregory, Jeffrey, Keith and Mark Nist; and his siblings, Carol Nist, Margie Nist, Nancy Bruecken and Jerry Nist (Irene). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
