She was predeceased by: her parents, David W. Shinham and Anna L. Shinham (Myers); and her husband Richard G. "Dick" Carrington. She is survived by: her son David Carrington of Glenshaw; and her sister Evelyn Shatzer (Frank) of Chambersburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
