He was predeceased by: his parents, William Matsen and Jean Matsen; his wife Maude M. Matsen; his sons, Bill Matsen (Deborah), Bob Matsen (Michelle) and Michael Matsen; his grandchildren, Kristen, Robert Jr., Katie and Jake; and his great grandchild Charles.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nelson and Priscilla.
