He is survived by: his parents, Bob McGovern and Theresa McGovern; his siblings, Bob, Dan McGovern and Judy Dawson (Mark); and his nieces and nephews, Dara and Devin Dawson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
