She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Mercer; her parents, Charles Brooks and Selma Brooks; and her brother Charles Brooks Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Susan Sammartino (John) and GiGi of Chase Sammartino; and her siblings, Bertie Sproul (Jack) and George Brooks (Maryellen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
