He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Hamilton; his son David Hamilton; and his parents, John Hamilton and Bessie Hamilton. He is survived by: his children, John Hamilton (Colette) and Barbara Garrett (James); his daughter-in-law Patricia Hamilton; and his grandchildren, John Jr., Brian, Elizabeth, Allyson, David Jr., Andrew, Peyton and Sawyer.
