He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Modlin and Blanche Modlin; and his sister Joyce I. Modlin Thomas. He is survived by: his nephew Mike Thomas; and his nieces, Donna Klaghotz and Denise Campbell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and close lifelong friends he considered as brothers.
Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers: The family suggests a donation to Malvern Retreat in his name.
