It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Mathews of Glenolden, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred DiBernardo and Theresa DiBernardo (Novelli); her husband James Mathews; her son William; and her siblings, Clementine Zeidner and Alfred DiBernardo.
She is survived by: her adoptive son Stephen Mastella (Laura); and her sister-in-law Patti DiBernardo of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the William J Mathews Scholarship Fund at Archmere Academy in Claymont, Delaware.
