He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Brady Bunch; his sons, Tom, Rock, Bill and Biggie; his grandfather Michelle Jr; and also Tom Jr. He was also cherished by his parents, three brothers.
Joe served this great country during WW2 on board the USS New Jersey . He was very proud of his time in the Navy and would often speak to people about his service . He worked for the Navy Yard as a machinist and retired from there after 45 years of service . Joe lived most of his life in Glenolden and spent the last 5 years at the Maris Grove community in Glen Mills . Joe kept things simple .He loved to exercise by running earlier in life .Then started to spend time at the pool . He kept his cars immaculate . Also , he loved watching the old classic movies on TMC . He was a true gentleman . An absolute joy to be around . He will be sorely missed . The family is planning a private memorial service tied in with the USS New Jersey (date pending) .
