He is survived by: his wife Joanne Sweeney (Kandravi); his children, Joseph Sweeney (Deborah), Linda Kerns and Dolores Waldeck (Glen); his sister Edith Williams; and his grandchildren, Joseph Sweeney (Celeste), Melissa Koons (Michael), Jennifer Hertzler (Chad), Holly Cupo (Peter) and Benjamin Waldeck (Erin). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
