He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sr. Schartner and Mary Schartner; his wives, Georgette Gaul Schartner and Denise Worrell Schartner; and his sisters, Anne Mae Smith, Patricia Schappell and Nancy Natrin.
He is survived by: his son Frederick J. Schartner III; his grandson Frederick J. Schartner IV; and his children, Barb McQuiston (Dave), Joey Schartner, Faith, Heather, Corey, Victoria, Connor and Gabby. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
