He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P. Flynn and Dorothy Stout Flynn; and his sister Dorothy. He is survived by: his friend Patty LaBelle; his sisters, Patricia and Marilyn; his wife Linda Flynn; his children, Lori Astler (Doug), Kelly Valente (Dave), Erik Flynn, Bonnie Flynn (Fred Roth), Sean Flynn (Tiffany Truesdale) and Danny Flynn (Airey Boyd); his grandchildren, Miles Astler, Lana Valente, Alessia Valente, Matteo Valente, Olivia Flynn and Sophia Flynn; and his brother Thom Flynn (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
