He was predeceased by: his brother William J. "Billy" McGovern. He is survived by: his parents, Bob McGovern and Theresa McGovern; his siblings, Bob McGovern and Judy Dawson (Mark); and his nieces and nephews, Dara and Devin Dawson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
