He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Engel and June Engel Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Patty Engel; his children, Kelly Trainer (Scott), Marybeth Kushnir (Matt), Sarah Engel (Phil Vaughan) and Clifford J. Engel (Jane); his sister Susan Peet (Thomas); his stepparent Jamie Nachman; and his grandchildren, Cole, Emily, Madison, Avery, Cecily, Jacob and Hudson.

Burial: Private, In lieu of flowers contributions to Glenolden Fire Company, 123 South Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA 19036 would be appreciated.
