She was predeceased by: her parent Paul C. Schaeffer; and her brother Bob Schaeffer. She is survived by: her spouse John L. Basta, Sr.; her parent Ruth M. Schaeffer (Miller); her children, Connie McNeill of Hanover and John L. Basta, Jr. (Christina) of Glen Rock; her grandchildren, Alex, Zack and Caden; her great grandchild Carter; and her sister Regina Jordan of Shrewsbury.
