He was predeceased by: his siblings, Karl Ballwanz and Joan Seibel. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette M. Ballwanz; his children, Roland E. Ballwanz, Jr. (Patti), Lydia Ballwanz-Duvall and Jon Ballwanz (Kristy); and his brother-in-law Francis E. Schirmer (Dottie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
