He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Boyd and Lizzie Boyd; his wife Sara Boyd (Strine); his children, Rebecca Rishel (Richard), Elizabeth Thames, Richard (Katy) and Nicholas (Donna); and his sister Ann Barshinger of Lancaster County. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
