She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph A. Starz, Jr.; her parents, Eugene C. Freeman and Evelyn P. Freeman (Wolfe); her siblings, Gloria May Bellanca and Herbert Eugene Freeman; and her son-in-law Thomas H. Prowell.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Starz, Fay Ganster (Jason), Joseph Starz, III (Lori) and Pamela Prowell. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
