He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Langkam II and Mary Elizabeth Hauf Langkam; his siblings, Linda Utz and Doug Langkam; and his siblings-in-law, William Utz, Charles Campbell, Jim Day, Sharon Langkam and Renata Langkam.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Langkam (Ryan Harmon) and Frederick W. Langkam, Jr. (Brittany Sanders); his grandchildren, Carter Harmon, Tanner Langkam and Braelyn Langkam; the mother of his children Terry Eckert Langkam; and his siblings, John L. Langkam III, Patricia Campbell, George "Ted" Langkam (Sue), Russell Langkam (Kathleen) and Cathy Day. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
