He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. G. and Grace E. Oplinger (Kunsman). He is survived by: his wife Toni A. Oplinger (Rawlings); his children, Robin Pagora, Kathryn Grace Holden (Gregory), John Paul Oplinger (Ginger) and James Daniel Oplinger; and also Jean Ward. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
