He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anthony and Catherine Sigmund (Sahr); his wife Margaret Dougherty Sigmund; his son Mark Christopher Sigmund; and his nephews, Michael and Paul Sigmund.
He is survived by: his children, William Jr. (Nancy), Daniel (Linda), Kathryn Kamholz (Mark), Matthew and Richard (Heidi); his daughter-in-law Marie; his grandchildren, William (Amy), Rachel (Chris), Erin, Samuel, Zachary, Matthew, Ryan, Margaret (Maggie), Julianna, Mark and Alexander; and his brothers, Thomas (Marcy) and Donald Sigmund (Joanne).
