We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025, Sophie E. McKeown of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sophie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sophie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel McKeown and Marie Larson McKeown; and her siblings, Marie Mullin, Daniel A., Gustaf D. and Francis J. McKeown.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Anne McKeown and Nancy McKeown. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Joseph (3255 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
