He is survived by: his children, Michael, John and Ciara; his wife Elizabeth; his children, Katherine (Kristian), Paul (Lisa), Ashling (Brad) and Conor; his grandchildren, Sophie, Declan Pollard, Anya, Cian Burke, Orla and Finn Gonzales-Burke; and his sisters, Maírín and Nuala.
